Mr. Philippines, A Native of San Remigio!

Across Asia his supremacy, have been recognized the rest of the country had stolen the prestige of his hometown and for the country in general. But he has been out of recognition by his countrymen and almost forgotten by his fellow San Remigiohanon!

Mr. Roman “Dondon” Cortuna Jr., the reigning Mr. Philippines over all Champion last July 20, 2006 in Manila and earn him a ticket and qualifier for Mr. Universe candidate to represent our country in Germany this coming December 1, 2006.

A 32 years of age, a native of Lambusan, San Remigio, Cebu. Born on August 9, 1974 from parents Mr. Roman Cortuna, Sr. and Mrs. Concepcion Verallo. Married to a 36 year old Leticia Pacilan, with six month old kid. Leticia is a native of Davao City presently residing in Manila but often visited Lambusan.

Educational Background:

Completed Elementary & High School Lambusan Elementary & National High School respectively, which about eleven kilometers from Poblacion, San Remigio, Cebu. Graduate of Marine Engineering at the University of the Visayas, in Cebu City and was employed at Trans Asia Shipping Lines for two years 1995-1997.

According to him, being a sea man is somewhat a secondary profession for him, because body building was his first love profession. In fact at the age of 16 he already started practicing body building, and found his right destiny in life.
