Welcome to the website of the Municipality of San Remigio, Cebu. This is designed to better communicate with you in line with our advocacy of transparent governance.

San Remigio, Cebu is famous for its unspoiled long white sand beaches, hospitable people and peaceful surroundings. Only in San Remigio where you will be able to catch a glimpse of the 44 kilometer white sand beach, considered as the longest in the Province of Cebu. Having wide array of agricultural products, we are also one of the major suppliers of Mango (Indian, pajo and commercial) in the country. Among the other fresh marine resources, “Imbao” (mangrove clam - Anodontia edentula) is very much abundant here.

The programs of the Local Government of San Remigio, Cebu has extensively focused on upland development through communal tree planting, and agro forestry. It has also spearheaded in the preservation of marine life through mangrove reforestation and protection of its sea grass bed sanctuary. It has led also in the proliferation of livestock production, being one of its major livelihood projects. Moreover, the development of the Barangay Hagnaya Terminal; opening of access roads in the mountain barangays; improving waterworks system; and the extension of the Poblacion Public Market are just few of the monumental manifestations of good governance of this administration.

It is our goal to give visitors of this site the opportunity to learn more about San Remigio, Cebu and striving hard to provide more complete information on its services and programs, as well as on updating them of important news and events.
